Years ago, a terrible car accident happened to the brother Liu Song, and he lost a hand from it. Liu Mei, his younger sister, came forward and shouldered the heavy burden of life, supporting Liu Song and helping him regain the confidence of living.

After years of efforts, on December 1st, 2000, the siblings opened the first Chongqing Liuyishou Hotpot Restaurant in Keyuan 3rd Street, Shiqiaopu, Jiulongpo District, Chongqing Municipality.

At first, the hotpot restaurant is intended to financially support the small family of the siblings. Later they expanded the hotpot business to make everyone in the enterprise, the big family, live a happy life. On the way of dream chasing, Liu Yishou started by running a roadside hotpot restaurant of only several hundred square meters. After years of joint efforts, the restaurant grew into a global enterprise with more than 1,500 franchises all over the world. The enterprise explored the domestic market and opened restaurants in 31 provinces and metropolitan cities, including Hongkong, Macao, and Taiwan. Two significant branches locate in North America and Europe, and two overseas business centers are in Australia and the Middle East. Besides, foreign hotpot lovers can enjoy the unique flavor in restaurants in more than 10 countries, including America, Canada, Dubai, France, Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Spain, South Korea, New Zealand, and Vietnam.

Liuyishou Hotpot enterprise has made substantial progress in bringing the traditional Chinese flavor into every corner of the world. By providing more than 60,000 jobs and helping over 1,000 people start their business, Liuyishou Hotpot has shown its high sense of social responsibility as a private-owned enterprise.

Liuyishou Group gathers Chongqing unique cuisines. With 18 years of chain operation experience, it created the first branch focusing on catering to the customers with delicate and tasteful food—Mouth-Watering Hotpot Noodle.
In 2016, Mouth-Watering Hotpot Noodle opened its first direct restaurant in Chongqing. Being spicy, hot, fresh, and appetizing, the distinctive flavor has captured many gourmets and attracted a large number of investors.
In 2017, Liuyishou Group won the Brand of the Most Investment Value Award in Guangzhou Hotel Expo. In 2018, the group gained the Favorite Dish Award issued by Chongqing Hotel Industry Association and became a committee member of China Hotel Industry Alliance. After more than two years of operation, about 40 Mouth-Watering Hotpot Noodle restaurants were opened across China. The branch has gained 15 regional partners, even in Hongkong and Macao, becoming the vanguard of the hotpot noodle industry. Besides, Mouth-Watering Hotpot Noodle vigorously develops overseas markets. At present, the first restaurant in the United States (New York Restaurant) has been opened. And the second restaurant (Houston restaurant) and more in Philippine, Spain, and Japan are in preparation. They were going into operation in 2021.

The brand Xiaoqingmiao Beijing Duck Roast and Hotpot is the first restaurant in Chongqing catering roast duck and duck hotpot. In the food collection restaurant, people can enjoy roast duck, roast meat, hot soup, hot stewed vegetable cuisines as well as hand-made snacks.
Qianmengzhu Beef Kebabs Hotpot was officially established in January 2019. After just 10 months, the team led by the founder Ma Tingting now has 3 restaurants in Xuzhou, 5 in Wuxi, 1 in Shanghai, and 1 in Yancheng. In October 2019, it formally formed an alliance with Liuyishou Group and became one of Liuyishou Group’s brands.
Adhering to the belief of doing everything by yourself and doing the best if you want to do it, people work carefully to bring the best food to the customers. The brand works hard to grow into an industry example. During the preparation period, its professional core members flew to Australia to visit the local cattle farms. They brought the best quality beef back to China and concentrated on improving its taste in beef kebabs. The team selects the top-grade Australian beef feed with grain for 150 days, keeps them as fresh as just cut, matching it with authentic Sichuan flavor hotpot soup. After trial and error, they strived for the best flavor and finally created the top-quality beef kebab hotpot, Qianmengzhu.
Another brand Chongqing 61° Ancient Hotpot represents the legend of traditional Chongqing hotpot culture. The founder researched the techniques of making traditional hotpot and created the Chongqing hotpot school. With authentic and distinctive flavor, the 61° Ancient Hotpot is the banner of old Chongqing Hotpot.
The traditional hotpot is sudoku hotpot. The round shape and the square in the center combine, making the pot be of symmetrical beauty. In China, round shape connotes satisfaction and vitality. The copper pot also looks like ancient copper cash. People like eating hotpot because it meets their wishes of having profits pouring in from all sides. The combination also shows the idea of harmony. Various condiments and spices taste good if they are in harmonious proportion. When people get together to enjoy hotpot, they are in a friendly relationship. The number 61 pounce the same as the first two characters of the brand name liu and yi in Chinese. Besides, if 61 are read backward, it sounds like yi liu, which means the first-rate quality in Chinese.
For this reason, 61° is taken as the branch name. Moreover, the highest degree of spirit is 60. The higher the degree is, the purer the spirit would be. And 61° means the quality of the hotpot even exceeds that of the best and most genuine spirit.
